Yesterday was seemingly the most ordinary of days. Sister Mariola left Kasisi first thing in the morning to run some errands for the home. She came back late, when the children were already asleep. But they never forget this day – SISTER MARIOLA’S BIRTHDAY.
Today, at the crack of dawn, Joseph appeared in front of Sister Mariola’s office – he wanted to be the first one to give her a hug and show her that he had not forgotten. He was followed by Bella, who was quickly exhausted by emotions while waiting. Later, the office door would not close for a second. Everybody wanted to see Sister Mariola at least for a moment, to show her how important she is to them.
Dear Sister! Today, we want to offer you a little bit of the warmth with which you endow the wounded hearts of children. We thank you for your constant presence and for taking us on one of the most beautiful journeys. We have witnessed so many times how, thanks to your care, smile and demonstration of LOVE to each child, showing them without unnecessary words that they are important, you have melted the hardest ice in their little hearts. We send our warmest wishes!!! All the best, much health and lots of strength.
