Check out the great care our kids get! At Kasisi, we don’t just feed, clothe and love them. We also make sure they are educated and provided with medical care. It is very important to us that children have healthy teeth.
We provide dental prophylaxis and the kids know how to brush their teeth properly. There is also a dental practice on the premises of the HOME. There is no permanent doctor there, but Sister Mariola makes sure that there are regular check-ups and ongoing treatment.
Today we are hosting Dr Donn. He is a dentist and a specialist in treating children with cerebral palsy. Some of the kids have already had a check-up, others are waiting their turn.
However, Sister Mariola would not be herself if she limited herself to our charges with such support. It is not only our little patients who will benefit from Dr Donn’s professional dental assistance, but also sick kids from Lusaka and the surrounding area.
Kasisi is a place where a chain of goodness is created and help is also passed beyond the walls of the HOME. Because we believe in the happiness that comes from the fact that by giving, we make a real difference in the world.
