Looking at Gift, one might think they look at a newborn. The boy is seven months old but weighs only 2 kg. He has a cleft lip and palate. We’re doing everything to help him quickly gain weight to 6 kg, at which point the first surgery can be performed.
Gift is incredibly brave. Holding him in your arms, supporting his tiny head with your hand… You can feel him trying to lift it, but for his frail body, it’s still too big of a challenge.
A few days ago, Gift had very low oxygen saturation, and we were very worried about him. Fortunately, he once again showed that he won’t give up without a fight. And he did indeed win! Everything returned to normal, and our little one continues to smile and calmly observes the world around him. Here at Kasisi, we’ve shown time and again that we can work miracles.
