Since Monday there has been a great deal of excitement at the Home of Kasisi! The older children came back from their boarding school for Christmas – they missed their Kasisi friends and especially their auntie. The house is filled with laughter and the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations. The youngest children are making beautiful paper chains and dressing up in Christmas tree decorations as if it were a fashion show. Maria, Blessing and Susan have the makings of real models! The Christmas tree had to wait its turn to be decorated.
The older children have been decorating the whole house – hanging handmade paper ornaments, making sure that everyone feels the special festive atmosphere in every corner of the Home.
All the commotion of preparations allows the sisters to secretly prepare the Christmas presents – the little ones, busy decorating the tree, forget to look in the drawers and compartments where our Santas have hidden the Christmas gifts. Could you be persuaded to give the children a few more small presents?
The dreams of the little ones are modest – a chocolate Santa Claus, a nice dress, a fragrant shampoo – that’s all it takes to bring a big smile to their face this Christmas! In each child’s profile you will find an option to give a present or some Christmas sweets.
And if you would like even more sweetness, be sure to take a look at ouradvent calendar, where you’ll find the second part of a gallery of small and larger Kasisi Santas!
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
