Christmas in Kasisi is a sacred time. On Christmas Eve, the children dress up and walk in a procession to the chapel. One of them (proud as a peacock, as it’s a great honor) carries the Infant Jesus figurine. The children first pray fervently for all of Kasisi’s friends (that means you all), the figurine is placed in the manger, and then the carol singing begins.
The next day is one of the loudest of the year. After an early lunch, the BIG Christmas Party kicks off—with sweets, festive decorations, gifts, and other surprises. The kids absolutely love it! And we do everything we can to make this Christmas Party unforgettable, turning Kasisi into a children’s paradise for this special occasion. Such a mission can succeed only with your help!
Everyone will gather at the Christmas table: the children, the sisters, and the staff—we never forget about anyone. That’s nearly 300 people. And while Santa has never had it easy here, one thing is certain—no one can be missing from the table on this day!

We’re urgently looking for 166 people to help us fill these festive plates. Many of us leave an extra place at the Christmas table each year. This time, let one of our children (from afar, but in spirit) take that seat and join in the celebration. For them, it will truly be the best gift ever.
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings.
