And finally here it is!!! We are opening the new physiotherapy building funded by you! This new and much awaited place in Kasisi will serve those of our residents with motor and intellectual disabilities. It was created in response to the growing need for such a space outfitted with professional equipment for physiotherapy classes.
The space is already there and we will soon be adding more equipment. Let it serve those who need it most!
Like all houses in Kasisi, this one will also have its patron saint. Saint Kizito is the youngest of the group of Martyrs of Uganda. He learnt what it means to suffer when he was only 13 years old. From now on he will be the patron saint of those in Kasisi whose suffering we want to relieve with professional help.
Thank you for this house and for giving us such wonderful opportunities to respond to all the needs of our residents.
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
