“How are you?!” – Felix greets every guest in Kasisi like this without any restraint! During the last few months, a closed and reticent child has become a first-class chatterbox! This is of course thanks to Kasisi, who every day builds self-confidence in the most withdrawn children and helps them to make friends with this world.
We love celebrating Children’s Day and we know how to do it, because in Kasisi every day is Children’s Day. To mark the occasion we came up with an idea:
LET’S WRITE A BOOK OF THE BEST PIECES OF ADVICE FOR LIVING A HAPPY LIFE!
“Smile a lot and make others laugh”, “Remember, it’s better to lose than to cheat”, “Dogs don’t actually eat cats”, “You won’t grow a tree in your belly from eating watermelons with the seeds”.
These most precious words of wisdom have shaped us into the people we are and have stayed with us forever. Let us share them with the children on their day today and create a guide to the world for the big ones and the little ones.
Enter your advice – preferably one sentence – in the specially prepared form. Sign up for the Kasisi Foundation’s newsletter to make sure you are the first to receive the finished guide on the Day of the African Child on the 16th of June.
Tell a child what is important in life! Let’s write a book of the best pieces of advice for living a happy life.
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
