Many children in Africa will never see the inside of a classroom, won’t receive treatment when they fall ill, and won’t hear that they have the right to dream and live like other children in the world. Lack of access to free and compulsory education, basic medical care, vaccinations, and treatment, along with forced labor—this is the reality that steals their childhoods.
We can’t change the whole world overnight, but we can change the world for the children at Kasisi. Every book they read, every visit to the doctor, every warm meal is more than just material help—it’s a sign that their rights are our priority. Each child, with their unique story and individual needs, deserves to never lack anything—not love, not care, not the chance for a better childhood.
Take a moment to imagine… What would your life look like if you couldn’t go to school? If no one was there to care for you when you were sick? If you never heard the words, “You matter, and we believe in you”?
At Kasisi, children can hear those words. They can believe in their future, thanks to people who didn’t turn away but instead reached out to them
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
