Soweto, South Africa, 47 years ago. Thousands of schoolchildren and students took to the streets to protest against poor education. They wanted to study in their mother tongue. Many of them were killed by the then racist regime.
These barriers did not vanish 47 years ago. The opportunity for education is still a big dream for many children in Africa.
In Kasisi, we make sure that every one of our children has the opportunity to learn and has access to books. And whenever one wishes to develop further in their desired field, we move heaven and earth to enable them to do so. For us, this is a priority. To give each child the wings to fly out of the Kasisi nest on their own.
This is all possible thanks to you. You are the ones who create the conditions for the Kasisi kids to learn. You provide the motivation and prove that the impossible does not exist. You help us to finance the best schools and extracurricular activities for them. Your efforts are bearing fruit. Many children pass their exams with results that allow them to make further choices and think about studying at the best universities in Zambia and Europe.
