If you can see this, you will surely know that we barely survived today’s day with the preschoolers. The beginning was quiet – singing “our little balloon”, which turned into an impromptu sling dance, which unexpectedly turned into freestyle wrestling. Aga didn’t make it, floored by the laughing toddlers.
But in the midst of these games, there are some touching moments – when a child separates themselves from the laughing group. They quietly come over to just hug, shyly hold hands and just be with an adult who is slowly rebuilding their trust in the world.
We take new photos of the kids and cannot marvel at how the once sad faces have quickly turned into happy smiles. The kind you can see in their eyes, newly curious about the world and its challenges.
The sisters and aunties are your nurturing arms and wise words during school setbacks or pre-school squabbles. They are the strong arms that tirelessly help children get up from those real and metaphorical stumbles. But the wind in Kasisi’s sails is being blown by you – by taking part in Adoptions from the Heart, which not only responds to a child’s basic needs, but above all allows Kasisi to function like a real Home.
If you have not yet decided on
Adoptions from the Heart and have any questions, feel free to ask us in the comments or privately. We are here for the children and for you.
And now, in the custom of the sisters, we will tell you:
Welcome Home!
