What better way to celebrate World Adoption Day, which was a few days ago, than to give a family to those less fortunate people who were deprived of one from the very start?

Today Kasisi became a HOME for two little ones in need – siblings Maria and Joseph. Their first day in the world also brought tragedy for the whole family. During the delivery of the twins, their mother suffered a severe haemorrhage. She could not be saved. The toddlers’ dad, despite trying, was unable to provide them with proper care. Today, he made a good decision. He entrusted his treasures into the best hands – that of the sisters and yours. Thanks to you, these little ones will get everything a little human being needs at the start: a properly balanced diet, medical care, their own beds with clean bedding, beloved teddy bears, but most of all safety, arms ready to cuddle at any time, and a lot of LOVE. If it were not for you, the fate of the little ones would be completely different.

We thank you today precisely for this – for being able to rectify this fate from the very beginning of children’s lives, for turning hopelessness into hope, for not being powerless, for being able to whisper in the ears of every little one who comes to us “You get stronger, and we will get to work”.
