The sisters laughed at us as we excitedly took sprinkles, icing and spices out of our suitcases for the kids’ cakes, saying it wouldn’t be popular.
Well it was a hit!
Not only did the girls who decorated the cakes have joy, but so did all of the Kasisi residents – there wasn’t a child, auntie or sister who didn’t get a little confectionery masterpiece. And there were requests for more!
A Christmas fundraiser for a one-of-a-kind children’s Christmas dinner at Kasisi is up and running on our homepage.
