Valentine’s Day is a good time to be even closer to those whom we love. That’s why today we want to flood the people of Kasisi with an ocean of LOVE.
Each of our children has been through so much in their lives. Many a little heart has had to be mended from the tiny pieces into which they had been broken by those closest to them. Here, in Kasisi, they have slowly regained the certainty that they are IMPORTANT and LOVED.
You have shown so many times that you can restore the smallest children’s faith in humanity. That even though you are a few thousand kilometres away, you make sure they never go hungry, that they can learn and develop their talents, that they have medical care and, most importantly, that every day, thanks to you, they can learn what LOVE is in its purest form.
Could we persuade you to buy some good calories for the Kasisi pantry? What a burst of joy it would be if its shelves flexed under the weight of the favourite vegetables and chicken just TODAY!
Or maybe one of you will find a bit of spare room in your heart and just TODAY welcome 3-year-old Mercy, who has been with us since yesterday.
We will, of course, show the children how much real help they have received from you on this festive day of love. For every donation from 14 to 19 February, we will hang hearts in Kasisi’s courtyard with the names of the people who supported our charges during these days. And every 50th person donating by electronic transfer will receive a surprise from us. We also have good news for everyone taking part in our loyalty programme – we will DOUBLE POINTS for everyone who shops on these days!
Valentine’s Day won’t happen by itself. Can you help? If so, get to it! We love you very much.
A school kit includes notebooks, allowing children to study at home. It also includes a pair of shoes, which, if not for Kasisi, they would have to borrow from their siblings. And finally, a delicious, healthy sandwich in the backpack, which gives them the energy they need for their studies. Just like the sandwich their mother would prepare. You can pack one into their backpack today—from right here, from your own home.
