Blessing was directed to Kasisi due to the tragic loss of her parents and the challenges faced by her aunt, who was initially caring for her. She arrived along with her brother, Daiton. Recently, Blessing has been facing significant learning difficulties, particularly in reading, which may be attributed to potential dyslexia. We are continuously striving to help her overcome these challenges through proper diagnosis and support from a speech therapist. Despite these issues, Blessing radiates a positive attitude and a smile.

How am I doing?

OCTOBER 2024
Blessing started attending a special needs school, where she feels much better than in a regular institution. In this new environment, she has found support and teaching methods that allow her to develop at her own pace. As a result, she is doing much better, both academically and emotionally. Her weekend returns to our Home are a time for rest. In the peaceful atmosphere of Kasisi, surrounded by her loved ones, she recharges and gains strength for another week of challenges.
FEBRUARY 2024
Recently, she’s been facing significant challenges in school due to reading difficulties. We'll be looking into whether she may have dyslexia. Despite this, she remains a nice, smiling girl.
AUGUST 2023
Blessing is still working with the speech therapist on her pronunciation. We can already see the first progress, but she still has a lot of systematic work ahead of her before she overcomes her defect. She is very determined and wants to be like the other children. Although she sometimes comes home from school anxious and stressed, she is doing very well with her studies.

She is doing well. She copes both at school and at home. She goes to the speech therapist all the time.

JANUARY 2023

She has grown a lot. She is a nice, friendly girl. She has a speech defect, which unfortunately makes her feel self conscious. She is fighting it and doing speech therapy exercises.

APRIL 2022

Blessing is in the fifth grade. She is very serious for her age: quiet and rational. Her passion is singing. She likes everything practical.

JUNE 2021
She is in the fourth grade. Blessing has a very good appetite (probably even too good;)). She often helps in the dining room, most willingly with sweeping the floor.
MAY 2019
Blessing is in the second grade and is very well-behaved. She is part of the show choir. She has an older sister who visits her regularly.
