Joyce came to Kasisi after her mother’s death, marking a new chapter in her life. Throughout her time at Kasisi, she has had no visitors, which may have fostered a desire to feel needed. Her experiences have shaped her eagerness to help others and engage in activities that bring about positive change. Joyce is an exceptionally hard-working person whose determination has helped her overcome recent health issues, although she’s aware that her immunity remains weak. She continues to search for her true passion and life’s purpose. Meanwhile, she is involved in leading the chapel choir and assisting in the kitchen. These activities not only give her satisfaction but also help her build relationships with other residents of Kasisi.
