The metal cots and worn-out mattresses have lulled generations of Kasisi kids to sleep, but are now in desperate need of replacement.
We know how much the sisters want the children of Kasisi to feel at home! Unfortunately, sooner or later, every home will need some upgrading. And yet there are so many other important expenses in Kasisi!
We, however, think that we cannot put it off any longer – the babies’ bedrooms have undergone an extensive renovation and the only thing they are missing are cots. Wooden, warm – and with a brand-new mattress to lull our kids to sleep. So that no cold rung can rouse them from the sleep they have earned through their daily mischief!
Our dream is to make the babies’ bedrooms look like a truly homely, safe environment that is associated with warmth. Will you help us make this dream a reality?
We need as many as 30 cots. With prices of 7300 kwacha (nearly PLN 1,600) for one cot, the entire amount to be raised seems mind-boggling. Iin Zambia such purchases are very expensive, as they are often imported from abroad.
